As we continue to welcome beginners to our class I thought it would be interesting to share this short video showing the differences between Clogging (Purple), Irish (Green) and Tap Dance (Beige). We also spoke a little in class about the differences between clogging in competitions as well as socially. In the US, there are many clogging competitions but they also have many recreational clogging groups. Here in Australia, we do not have any clogging competitions and our clogging is more of a recreational nature. When we go to class, and to socials, our routines are cued. However, during performances and demonstrations, we do a mixture of cued and uncued routines.
